Cedarwood  Essential Oil 

Cedarwood essential has a dry woody scent with balsamic undertones that mixes well with most other essential oils. Extracted from Juniperus virginiana of the Cupressaceae family.

The therapeutic properties of cedarwood oil are antiseborrhoeic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, tonic, astringent, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, insecticide, sedative and fungicide.

Chemical Constituents of cedarwood essential oil

Cedrol (Alcohol), Cadinene, Cedrene, Cedrenol, (Sesquiterpenes).

Cautions -  In high concentration, cedarwood oil may irritate the skin and it should be avoided in pregnancy.
